Just verbalising and ...
We keep talking about rules... I do, we all do BUT they are just
verbalisations of a majority opinion on 'whats works and does
not work for the majority of people at the time'... so we are not
following rules or breaking rules we are working to be accepted
by the majority or are not....

Hi,
If you are using colour film it is recommended not to use 'super
white' because there are artificial ' UV' whiteners in the paper
and could represent strangley.
Bye.

Hi Bjorn,
Sorry to come back to you but...
You said "orthopanchromatic" I presume you mean
'orthochromatic' which actually means the film is sensitive to
green aswell as blue and ultra-violet light. To look at it another
way it is not sensitive to red light. You can not say it is better
corrected colour wise than panchromatic film it is just different.
Sorry if I sound like a school teacher.

Q-T L Thank you for all the hard work. It's most appreciated. I feel
a little sad that there are few 'old timers' who don't wish to
contribute to the new forum on photo-net. We need everyone to
make this work, and continue what you have started.

Hi everyone
We are here now. So, lets use it as we did the old. We can only advance if we talk to each other. We can only learn if we help each other. WE ARE HERE NOW - SO TALK, READ, WRITE, LEARN & ENJOY.

Hi,
Please persevere, I have been using mine for about 6 months
and I am very pleased with the consistant results. Yes you have
to get to know it and I agree with Kenvin - we work in exactly the
same way.
Best regards Bob

Very strange, I remember talk of putting bromide in the tea of World
War II British soldiers to prevent the 'raising of the spirits'.

Hi Everyone,
This is just so funny (strange not Ha Ha), I friend and I working in
two different institutions have just been talking about a variation
of this same problem.
Our Minoltas and Sekonics are exactly the same in Contiuous
Mode (thats two Mins & two Seks) but the both Sekonics are one
stop under in FLASH MODE.
Interesting

Thank you everyone for your replies.
If I can find the paint on rubber that would be great but I will
consider the patch stick and clamp method.

Have a great few days and remember family is forever.

some small pinholes in an old MPP red bellows.

Have a good Christmas (I have no legal department) and for
those not celebrating have a good time anyway.

Hi,
There should be a review in the British Journal of Photography
on Wednesday 28 Nov. It will compare to a unit 20x it's price!!!
By the way the transparency / neg area is 4 inches x 9 inches so
it will scan 4x5.

Bob.

Hi,
I use a Logan matt cutter (a small handheld device) a large
cutting board, a heavy duty Steel rule, and a couple of G-clamps.
The most important part is a good supply of new sharp blades.
Regards Bob.

Tim,
The image of El Cap as with all the other pics were just
snapshots which have been taken over and over again, there are
not original, not new, not art, not very well done in fact. We have
all seen them from our friends and relatives. Poor quality and
uninspired photos do not make art art either (thank god that the
Kobal awards are finished!!!!).
