Here is the untouched RAW file of the same image, just converted to JPG no post processing - I shoot in RAW + JPG and the image posted in the opening post was camera jpg. I think the blurriness in RAW is not that pronounced but if I process it by adjusting the exposure etc, the result would be similar to the Jpg version

Thank you all for your replies and advice.
I am not using any filter and am not shooting from behind glass or screen. The EXIF shown for this photo is correct, it was captured handheld with IS off.
I will try panning method and also check the lens shooting static objects to see if there is any difference.in thr result

Hi,
I recently started photographing landing planes, however my photos are all blurred despite using all possible settings. I am using Canon EOS70D with Canon EF70-300 IS USM, at 300mm. I have used TV mode with 1/1000 shutter speed, AV mode with F-8, I have used IS in both mode 1 and 2 and also turned off, used center weighted, partial and evaluative metering modes but all with same result. I am using AI servo focusing and have selected center focus point.
Here is the result, is this motion blur or is the plane not properly focused?

1. Does an Inkjet color print has the same lifespan as of a color
lab print. If not, is the difference siginificant.
2. How do coloro laser printers and color inkjet printers compare
with regards to price, qaulity and life of the prints.

Hi,
I have edited some pictures in photoshop and now plan to print them
at the local digital lab. My question is:
1. Will the color balance, contrast, sharpness etc of the prints be
differenen thant what I see now on the screen?
2. If Yes, what can be done to minimize or eliminate these
diffrences?
Thanks

Hi,
I have some 4x6 colour prints, mostly landscapes, that i want to
enlarge. The problem is that I have lost the negatives so:
1. If I scan these prints with a consumer flatbed, can I get some
decent enlargments (10x12 or 12x16) at the digital lab?
2. If yes what resolution and other parameters should I use while
scanning?
thanks

How is mid roll film rewind done in EOS 300?
-
Thanks for all the replies.
But there are some things I want to add to my original question:
1. I have lost the negatives of the pictures that I am scanning.
2. The pictures are mostly landscapes with lots of details in 6x4 inches prints.I intend to enlarge themto 10x12 inches (or a little larger)
3. I will be using a drum scanner of the local printer who will be charging me per scan basis ( so i am not planning on buying one). But with this arrangment I have no control over the brand of scanner or quality of the operator.
Any comments are welcome.
Thanx

Hi,
I was told that drum scanners always do better qaulity scanning than
flatbed and if I awant to scan pictures for printing, I should
always use drum scaner.
Is the above statement correct? As I intend to scan some pictures
and after some editing, print them in a digitil lab. Should I use a
drum scanner?
