Hi Richard, a great photo as usual. Best of all, the b&w tones, the water brilliance, they look great on my computer. Pure photography, as the masters said.
To be sincere I was looking for you; I`m glad to see that in the usual gear adquisition paranoids here, you still use your D300 and the 18-200... with the same successful results.

Alvin, if you are still around here, I prefer the other, corrected version. Vanishing lines in this one seem a bit distracting to me... I have just seen your pic in that random bottom-thread banner. I like it so much, great atmosphere.

Thanks, Mike.

Not a critique but a letter of congratulation... I like this pic veeeery much. The couple at the background (the main subject, as you could say) has the perfect ammount of blur, the lady in the closer plane is beautifully sharp. The lateral light on her left arm add three-dimensionality,
I`d say the wall areas around the couple makes me to look at them. A tighter crop on the right side of the frame would put more emphasis on the lady. Perhaps it is the effect you`re looking for.
I`m a fan of your "natural" style and your "photographic environment"... I`m not qualified for a good critique to your work! :)
