It allmost looks like the woman is actually two people(one leaning to the left) when looking at this image from a 2-D perspective. All in all there are too many layers with entirely different messages to the viewer. Its the same in most of your images, you throw the viewer into a maze of impressions.... I have nothing against mazes tho' ;)

Wonderfull celebration of childhood, playing games and being curious about the world. Personally i would crop only the girl(left half of the frame) to make it more direct.

Im not a great fan of digital images because they have an advantage over scanned film when posted online, but i DO really like the composition and even more the cadence in which this person is planting the rice. The cricles in the water can allmost be traced back into actions.

What makes this image work for me is the shadow in the background, it adds so much depth to the scene. I personally make a reference to a 'fighters spirit', one could also see 'death' or simply 'someone passing by'. Anyway, it looks rather strange and intrigueing. Reminds me of the fact that a great image is never boring ;)

Mia,
Thanks for your comment, i forgot to crop it at the size i was going to upload, so i uploaded a better crop. At a larger size the crop worked fine though.

Just a dad and his little girl enjoying eachothers company. My 3 year
old daughter also 'leads' me around when we are in town or at an
amusement park, im just totally defenseless against her ;)P

How clearly can one visualize a parent-child relationship. A definate progression into character studies if you ask me, keep it up!
Originality 7, Aesthetics 6
Ive given you a 6 on Aesthetics because you can do better IMO. A slight 'lift' would give you so much more depth....

Jonathan,
