I decided to put some drying flowers into photographic use and try some still lifes. My
emphasis was on the fine texture of the petal. I welcome any feedback.

This was taken during a short holiday trip to Saaremaa, Estonia. It is
from a very modest church, but I guess that it's not all about
appearances. The light was beautiful, imho. What do you think?

I'm quite sure that my photographs don't really count as "fine art",
but I just couldn't find any other suitable category for this one.
The photo was taken at Hietaniemi cemetary in Helsinki on a very clear
autumn day (evening), though this particular location was in shade.
The tight cropping is intentional, but I might make another try with a
longer focal length, to better balance the gravestone and the statue.
Now the statue is perhaps a bit too dominant, IMHO.
Comments, anyone?

A lively picture, but why the cropping on the left side? Somehow it seems a bit unbalanced with the left side cropped and some extra space on the right side.
