What do you think? A foggy morning near my home. What do you think
about the dark wood on the right side? Does it disturb the general
quietness of the scene?

spectacularly beautiful. the tattered white cloth and the light on her back and the shadow...wow.

I don't see what the controversy is. The artist-photographer has made a statement. It is a chilling photo and the grey overcast of the skies only confirms it. Have you all not seen the 'lynching' photos of the American South in hte last century? they serve as a reminder and a reflection of our society. And in that, there can be no room for mere 'disgust'.

Splendid. Worlds better. its interesting that the camera rests on a blank page. somehow, there is a signification that it is a world apart from the craft of the written word.

A great script, warm textures, a timeless emotion, - all nearly ruined by the huge CANON.!! if you had to use photoshop only once, please consider taking away the logo.

I dont know if you are familiar with this painting by Andrew Wyeth. But there is indeed a lineage to your photo.

I think i like this is your best photo (so far). The texture of the lace does it all. Its interesting to think of textile as a layer of landscape. Nice work. I would consider pinching the lower right end of the window to make a uniform black frame.

Adam,
I cross the Chattahoochee everyday several times. You have forever altered the perception I have of this friendly little river. It looks positively dangerous here!
I wonder if you have attempted capturing the fog/mist that settles on the river some evenings...
Great work!

great texture, toning. love the "damaaged" look on upper right. certainly makes up for the lack of interest in subject matter.
-
ethereal and timeless. well done!
-
superb composition. you have captured the grace, speed, awkwardness of skateboarding all in one frame. nice work!
-
Reminds me of the inferno :) terrific work. great perspective.

Thanks for your input Daniel. The composition: be The top right is a bit abrupt?
-
would have loved to see this in a larger format. very interesting capture. bravo!
