1.
I think I'll go for a new K-5 with a new FA 20mm/2.8. Got a good offer that I can think about over the weekend (must answer during monday). Any comments?
Plan to use it together with the FA 50mm/1.4 and some Pentax M, K and A lenses. :)

 2.
In the old days, with 135 film, a compact 35mm was my standard lens. I've had the DA 21mm/3.2, and it was an OK lens but a little slow and a little wide.
I'll check out the Sigma 24mm/1.8.

 3.
5D and 5D MarkII are the smallest DSLR with a 24x36mm sensor out there. That's why I use 5D MarkII. I started with a 5D and 2 EF lenses, but then I suddenly wanted to upgrade the camera and to buy more good and inexpensive lenses. My lenses and the camera is a good reason to stay with Canon for a while. :)

 4.
My K-7 needed -9 to focus correct with my AF-lenses. I sent it in, and the Pentax service (here in Norway) adjusted the AF-sensor to the correct position. I didn´t have to pay anything for the fix.Now the camera fokus perfect.
If I have any problem like that when I get the K-5, I´ll sent it back too.

 5.
I have these 135 cameras for film:
Pentax: ME-super, MX and LX
Olympus: OM-2n
Nikon: Nikonos V
Yashica rangefinder: Minister 700
My prefered camera right now is OM-2n and LX, followed by MX and the very silent ME-super.

 6.
Robin: On a DX camera the lens hood in the FA 77mm is too short.
2 years ago I had a DA 70 and a bougt a FA 77 before I sold the DA 70. To be honest I liked to use the DA 70 better than to use the FA 77, but I stuck to my plan and sold the DA 70. Then I switched to D700 and sold all my Pentax gear. Now I'm back with Pentax, and I'm happy to own and use a DA 70 again. The FA 77 is bigger and heavier than the little DA 70, and I didn't lie that. I always use the hood that works very well on my DA 70. :)

 7.
Justin, I agre with this:
"I could easily see buying a K-5 as my backup (or main camera depending on if low ISO was better or not, if it's not K-7 remains main camera, K-5 backup/high ISO shooter) and retiring the K10D. I'd much rather have 2 K-7 like cameras than a K-7 and a K-x/K-r which is what it seems many people have considered. Also, I prefer the layout of my cameras to be identical IF possible which makes the K10D something I'd like to eventually lose. So again, going with a K-5 makes a ton of sense regardless of whether it's the main or backup."

But I think my K-7 would be my backup camera. "I'd much rather have 2 K-7 like cameras than a K-7 and a K-x/K-r which is what it seems many people have considered." :))
