Sorry, Guy, I've got no advice, but I just wanted to say that your image on my 19" monitor made me dizzy -- I like it! As far as making the bull more obvious, the best way would be to not take pictures when someone is in front of it. Snarky reply, but with this shot it's the truth.

Little late to this party, but I'm in Fort Collins, too.

Would it be possible to add some new searches to photo.net,

specifically in regard to searching through the photos themselves? On

more than one occasion I've wanted to look through and find a list of

all the photos taken with certain equipment, but appear unable.

 

I think being able to search by camera type, film type, or any of the

other standard fields (ie, location, date, etc) we fill out when

submitting pictures would be a good idea, and could only help folks

trying to learn better photography.

 

People who are learning to use a new camera, for instance, and don't

feel comfortable that they're using it right could search for all the

photographs in the database that were taken with that style of camera,

find someone who has achieved particularly good results and talk to

them about what they were doing. Similarly for film. I'd imagine

that all the Velvia and IR and Polaroid Image Transfer folks would

love to be able to see other pictures taken in those media.

 

If there is a specific technical reason why this isn't feasible, I

would be curious to hear it. Otherwise, what would it take to get

this puppy implemented?
