  1. The more RAM the better. I would go w/ at least 512K of ram. Samething w/ hard disk. At least 60G of disk space of you can. Right now for about $600 you can get a pretty decent computer that would fit your need. If its come w/ PCI Express that would be terrific. As far as processor goes, personally for me I would stay w/ Pentium or AMD. Don't care much for the celeron processor (no flames please). Good luck.

PS. if you can also get a decent graphics card. I have an old Radeon 9800 and it's nice.

  2. I've just got a Leica mag yesterday. In it there is a section stated that Leica will pick up your camera for free and service it w/ a one year warranty. I don't have any experience w/ Leica service but it may worth a shot. Good luck.

PS I've heard a lot of good things about DAG. My local used Leica camera shop used him a lot.

  3. I am thinking of getting a P&S for my wife. I was torn between the

minilux (fixed lens) and the contax T3. Anybody here had/have

experiences w/ either or both? I was even thinking about getting her

a Canon G5 too. So please throw in you 2 cent worth for this camera

too. She would probably use this P&S for kids pictures. Right now I

have an M6TTL and kinda lean toward the Minilux.

    Thanks

  4. Flame you? No, can't do it since I still am shooting w/ my M6TTL. My digital is collecting dust. Don't have an M6. Maybe I should flame you for not using an M6TTl :-) I enjoy your pics alot regardless of the camera that you are using. If I ever buy anything more up to date I would be an M7 or 35 summicron.
  5. I've just read something about the MP today. I slightly confused over the difference between the two (M6 and MP). It seems like the MP just has a slightly better build than the M6 and slightly better TTL metering for flash than the M6TTL. If this is the case, I am with Travis, I'll just stay with my M6TTL.
