Not sure if this helps - but after much research I have narrowed it
down to Bowens Esprit momlights or Calumet Travelites.....bot
are made by Bowens I think....Calumet is cheaper in price and I
myself am quickly trying to figure out any other differences than
price. I am going to buy a three head kit - it comes with everything
you need to get rolling. Then add in a few more accessories like
an octobox, a couple backlite stands and some grids and you
are set for under 4 thousand from B&H for the Bowens and I
think under 3500 for the stuff from Calumet.
Like i said, hope this helps........I have been researching for ovber
a year and a half now while taking courses at a college.

I have since my last posting done some more research into weather or
not to buy one or the other - a Nikon FM3A or a FM2(n).
I know the FM2's are a great buy right now because of the intro of the
FM3A's, i also know that the FM3A is a creation that puts all the best
from the FE and the FM2 into one PLUS some additional goodies. With
that said one would assume that I should buy the FM3A right?
Well, I have used neither and would really appreciate some feedback on
the performance of the FM3A and the FM2. Anyone with pros and cons of
either body would be greatly appreciated. please do not reccomend
other bodies as i have narrowed it down to these two. I plan to buy
one of the two this weekend. So far, i am leaning twoards the FM3A. Am
I on the wrong track here?
Thank you to all who reply.

Hello fellow Bronica users. I have recently decided that it is time to
buy a wide angle lens for my SQ-Ai. I also just recently rented both
the 40mm and the 50mm PS lenses and took a landcape/nature trip with a
friend to test them out. I still feel confused as to which lens to buy
even after trying them both out. I usually do portraiture work, but
love to dable in landscape work so i need something that will do well
in both instances. the price difference is small so it is not an
issue. They seem to weigh close to the same. I di have to say that the
screw on lens cap on the 40 mm was a little time consuming though. I
found that the 40mm gets a lot in the photo, but sometimes too much. I
also found that the 50mm sometimes misses some of the stuff that i
want in the photo........is there ANYONE that has used both OR anyone
who can offer up some honest experience and advice on whice way to go?
This is not to start a debat, i only wish to have all of your
experiences shared here. Perhaps others will find it usefull
information one day too.
Thanks to all who

Hello all, thank you for responding to my question.
Is the FM2 and FM2n the same camera? AND, does ANYONE
have any experience or opinions of the new FM3A? I have been
doing a lot of research into this and figure maybe I should go
with that one (FM3A). Any reasons to stick to the FM2? Please
share your thoughts.
Thanks again ro responding.

It is time to ask the question. What is the best (in all your Nikonian
experienced opinions) manual NIKON body? I have been told by many that
it is the FM2 (I am in Canada), is this true or do you hold another
manual body close to your hearts and if so, why? I do not wish to
start a war on favorites, rather get a lot of honest opinions to help
me make the right decision for a USED purchase.
FYI - it will be my second 35mm body (i currently have the F100). I
wish to used all my AF-D lenses on this body and it will be used for
many applications such as weddings, portraits of kids & babies,
landscape......
Thank you to all who reply. Your time is appreciated.

Using Vivitar 285 w/umbrella
in Lighting Equipment
Posted
I use a manfrotto (Bogen in the USA) Master stand and an
adapter that goes (forget the propper name) on it that you can
attach your 285 or any flash for that matter (except minolta weird
shaped shoe!) and an umbrella. It swivels etc for moving it
around and licks in place nicely. You have to buy the plastic flash
holder to attach to the adapter too. It works great and is very
simple to take on and off. Hope this helps.
