The sun was minutes from setting and had broken through a hole in

the clouds.

I see three distinct centers of interest in this photo. The first, obviously is the fruit. This alone makes for an interesting photo, but what really makes this photo stand out are the other two centers of interest. The placement of the girl acts as a bridge to the third center; the crowded street scene. All of these elements work well together and my eye moves smoothly from one center to another and back again. The sunglasses on the girl prevent her from overpowering the image, yet her placement in the scene is perfect. Very nice photo.

I like the foreground also. There is a lot going on in the middle of the photo and the open foreground provides a counterpoint to what is going on in the center. I am from NM and I do not recognize the ruins. Is this part of Salinas Nat. Mon?
