The Baja California desert about 20 miles east of Bahia de Los
Angeles. Lush, green and blooming after a "wet" winter.

The boat is actually on a bluff well above the water. I considered
cropping the bottom left to hide the bit of beach that is showing.

Just about perfect.

The little yellow circle is a light in the mirror which is illuminating his face. Thank you for your comments!

I don't take many pictures of flowers, but I love this type of poppy
which is about 6-8 inches across. This one caught my eye becase the
sunlight coming through the trees and seemed to illuminate this
bloom. I'd love to hear your comments.

I don't know why, but I have to keep looking at this picture. I love the looks on their faces... what are they expecting the glass to do? This picture gives me a chuckle. I do wish the ceiling in the upper right side of the picture were less distracting.

Your dunes portfolio is a joy to look at!

Your comments welcome. Particulary interested in whether I should
have cropped the the higher ground at the right. I tried several
versions and finally decided to that the ground at right helps frame
the view of canyon.

It's a strange but very nice picture. I'd really like to know the details of how this was done.

I think this is a great picture. It reminds me of an oriental painting or fabric. I agree with the slight shadow on the right and dead leaves being a distraction... better if cropped out.

Great shot of the lightening coming out of the base of the clouds, and I can even see what seems to be sheets of rain streaming down.
I would crop the bottom part of the picture just above the roofline. The building doesn't add anything to the picture and takes away from a great storm shot

I'm really drawn to that little patch of aquamarine at the center. Makes me want to walk down that path.

A little different from the usual Monument Valley shot. A flock of
about thirty domestic sheep wandered down the road just as we stopped
to look at one of the "Mittens" formations.

Nice light. I like the way the light makes the rock wall and bridge glow against the blue sky and darker rocks.

The color perfectly matches the mood and setting. A very nice picture.
