Hi,
I find most of the Contarex lens has the flare problem as the coating and the optical adhesive are the 1960s products. The problem is quite serious when you shoot in the daylight and outdoor environments.

Hi All, I want to capture images of samples examined with a
microscope. I have tried to shoot through the eyepiece but the
results were not good. Is there an adapter for an EOS camera to the
eyepiece? What are your tips on the subject? yoyo

Hi,
Michael Reichmann has done a comparison of several Canon lenses at 24 mm ( http://luminous-landscape.com/reviews/lenses/24-vs-24.shtml ). The review may give you part of the answer.

The Zeiss website states that it expects these ZM lenses to surpass the quality of the Contarex lenses"
I have checked www.zeissikon.com but could not find the statement. Is it true that Zeiss states such a claim?

Thanks, Dave. Very accurate.

I read a news article that Hermes owns 30% of Leica. Who owns the
remaining 70%?

Hi Rob,
The lens can thread into the camera smoothly. I'll bring it to a repair shop. Thanks for your reply.

Hi All,
I have a problem with my Leica thread mount lens. The lens cannot be
moved to the closest focussing distant when it is mounted on a IIIf,
however, the lens is okay when not mounted. This problem does not
occur in my other lenses. What is the problem? Can it be easily
fixed? Thanks in advance for yur help.

Hi,
Do you know where I can find the optics diagram of the lens? Thanks.

Hi,
Can I check the manufacture year of a Leica lens if I have the
serial number?
Thanks

The main advantage of 2100 is using pigments instead od dyes. Pigments have vety good light fastness when compared with dyes. Also, the printing of B/W is much solid. By the way, neutral color can be achieved with the Graybalancer.

Hi,
Here is a reference at http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ps7_page/page_layout.htm to my previous email.

You can solve this problem by adding 0.2 inche to the top or to the left depending on whether the print is in landscape or potrait modes.
For example, if the print is in portait mode, deselect the image center box and add 0.2 inche to the top margin (if the original top margin value is 1.005 inches, then enter 1.205 inches). If the print is in landscape mode, then add 0.2 inche to the left margin value.
