  1. I'm surpised by the quality of the 16-85 VR II and the 70-300 VR II on the NIkon D300:

Very sharp, acceptable barrel deformation and no Ca problems with the D300.

I made some shootings from out a driving bus in Turkey and the VR works fine.

    For low light the same:-))

    Good price/quality, lichtweight travel lenses

    You want regret it!!!

  2. I was interested in photography and illustration at a very young age.

After highschool, I went to Artschool, where photography was one of the sections.

In advertsing as Art Director, I worked together with the best creativite photographers in

Belgium. They were asked to realize my (surrealistic) visual concepts and they were very

    good in it (without Photoshop).

When Photoshop became part of my professional life, visual concepts were without any

limits, also professional photographer started to use it more and more: a must.

What I do now and how I use photography is a logic follow-up from what I did

    professionaly: surrealistic visual concepts.

For me, photography and photoshop are a passion, like a brush and paint is for a painter.

Photopurists will dispaprove this, other just love it.<div>00OOGr-41684084.jpg.c917b74bd847e2ff824a3a28f923fb31.jpg</div>

  3. Joe,

If it's "primarily used for Photo Editing" chose a Mac they are made for it, that's why all

graphic people are wroking with it.

OsX is safer and more logic, no viruses, no poblems.

25 years with Mac never a problem, it works faster than a PC with the same ram and memory.

I advise 2Gb DDR ram memory if you are working with Photo editing programs

    You will never regret it.

  4. It's dificult to find the solution...

    1. delete Adobe Gamma and try again

    2. a CRT monitor of 5 years could be old.

    3. try to reinstall the Epson Drivers.

    4. print with de ICC of the Epson inkt and paper.

    5. use the original Epson inkt and paper, otherwise you need an special ICC profile.

    6. when you print use settings in attachment...

I hope I have been of any help

    Best regards, ben
