This was taken at Millenium Park in Chicago on a hot, sticky day.
The kids were having a blast! Comments welcome.

Taken in the Big Cypress swamp in Florida.

This leaf was stuck to a rock in a riffle by the stem. I took a
couple of exposures before it went on downstream. I used a
polarizer to select the degree of reflections on the water surface.
Manipulation: brought up midtones slightly in Picture Window Pro.
Comments are appreciated.

This is one of my attempts to find an original perspective on the
highly photographed Wrigley and Tribune buildings. The image has
been perspective corrected with Picture Window Pro, but otherwise is
straight out of the camera.
I debated whether these belonged in Architecture or Fine Art.
Opinions?

I took this one back in the film era. This overlook faces Pike's
Peak when it isn't obscured by ground level clouds.
The sun poked through between the clouds and mountains on the west
horizon for about ten minutes. The double rainbows terminated about
100 feet in front of me. I got about three good frames before I got
too much rain on the lens to shoot anything worth keeping.
This is very close to the print image- yes; it really was that
extreme lighting. The Epson 3170 does not handle that Fuji fourth
color layer well, so I corrected as best I could and reduced grain
with Picture Window Pro.
I hope you enjoy this shot as much as I enjoyed taking it. Comments
are appreciated.

I like this photo. It does a nice job of capturing the mood. It is a lonely street, but the image would lose a lot if the woman were not in the foreground. I hope this wasn't staged.
As for aesthetics, I think many digital users, myself included, are getting spoiled by grainless, perfectly color balanced night scenes. I enjoy seeing something old-school; as in something like what a film camera of mine produced a whole year ago before I went digital.

This is a great capture. It has multiple layers and leaves me wanting to know more about their story. I like the symetry, intimacy, energy and the interesting take on the predator prey relationship. Your engagement in the work and sense of timing is nice.
I enjoyed your recent folder. You are developing a style unique to you. I am where you are with experimenting and exercising creativity. I use a Digital Rebel to jumpstart my work without worrying about film and processing cost.
Anyway, nice street image. Keep wandering and shooting...

This was taken on a really windy, late Winter day near sunset. The
constant 30 mph wind was rippling the water nicely and little, puffy
clouds were blowing by. I just had to wait for interesting ones.
Details: Canon Digital Rebel w/ 28-135 IS USM. Rotated and
saturation bumped to make it pop. The original capture was nice,
but the pop helps. Some of the color at the top is from rocks in
the streambed.

Not sure if this is the right category. As an event, I love
demolition derbies for their drama. This particular image is a
negative scan from a flatbed- sorry it is a little fuzzy. Taken on
Superia 400 with Elan 7e and 70-200mm f4L. No enhancement other
than crop and dodge/burn here and there. Taken in perfect dusk
light. This crop is tight - the original image is larger and more
journalistic in appearance. Comments are appreciated.

Well, I am jealous of the subject matter. I've been collecting images of reclamation and entropy for several years and this is one of the nicest rotting cars I have seen.
I like the subdued color; it doesn't look like the saturation has been turned up to 11. The depth of field works nicely. I agree with the other comment about trying a crop that mostly eliminates the bumper. It is good context, but a bit distracting.
