Thank you, Len, for the suggestion. I think I would have to work harder on this image.

This was taken in our recent winter trip to Monument Valley. I have
never seen hills of this color and they looked almost unbelievable
when the sun was setting.

Great shot! If you hadn't told us those animals were displays, I would have never guessed they were not real! What an honest deception!

Thanks, Len!:-) I was so happy when I read your comments! The environment was very wet the day I took the picture! Oh, and by the way did I mention I got all muddy?! Anyway, thanks for the comments!

Thank you.

My Dad was very excited when we read about the volcano news. This
mountain was a pleasant scenary when we arrived. We were very near to
it but there was nothing scary when we were there. There were many
people visiting.

I love taking photos of flowers close up. This is one which I took in
our recent summer trip.

Very sharp image! The bird is beautiful! The bird is close up so you can see fine details such as the different feathers, legs and feet!

I love the picture, it reminds me of my little brother when he was younger. This picture looks good in black and white because if there were color people might get atracted to the other colors instead of the little boy.

Thanks for commenting on my photos! It's fun to read your comments, besides I always have a Dad who takes me to places I've never dreamt of.

Actually, the B&W version has a Henri Cartier Bresson feel. It reminds of many of his people's back shots that reveal the environment, the happenings and puts the viewer right in the middle of the action.
Lovely capture. Was the scan faulty for the color version? Would a re-scan and color-balancing in PS help?

I took this while vacationing with my family last summer. This is my
first big photography project.
