I love the very little content you gave to that shot; anyway, tell us a little more about what it was !! actually.. I'm puzzled.
Thanx,
David

A the left upper corner can be seen the former military fortress in
which the actress Sarah Bernhardt lived a few years...
I'd be grateful for any comment.
Thanks; regards,

I think you have to get a closer look to the shot to get in it...
tell me if it works for you

Happy to receive any piece of advise on that shot... I couldn't
remove the objets at the foreground without spoiling the 'ambiance'
-
John, I just love your comment :) it was an astonishing mix of colours...

I've only ajusted levels seperately for the sky and the earth, to
make for a badly underexposed shot. I'd like to know if you like it
Thanks in advance,
David

Yes, and Velvia doesn't help... Well, I fear there was too much emotion in my post, after all.
Thanks anyway for your comments :)

I know I frame it Harsh, and with Velvia tones... but I don't care,
I'd like to know how you feel about it
Thanx a lot,
David

Works well for me; nice contrast..
Happy with your 300D ? :)
-
Not original, I KNOW ! I'm aware it's kind kind of 'blur' at the top;
yet, I'd like to know wether the composition could have some
interest..
Thanks,
David

Well, thanks for any comment to improve my shooting :)
-
Could be better with more contrast... couldn't it ?

Toujours magnifique, Francis, merci..

Tired subject, but very well exposed.

I like it, and don't know why.. :) apart from the fact that this is a
very peculiar feeling, in 'Los Andes', at 3000m...
I know the corners are soft, but I don't care that much... ;)
Thanks for any comment,
David

... in the past.. Late daylight on a old and tiny village in the
french Alpes. Confined among altitude meadows

That's kind of you, David.. I confess that the main goal about the walk was the walk itself, rather than shooting, that time. I didn't dedicate so much time to the frame, but still am interested in your opinions on how I could have made a fairly good shot on that spot. Thanks for your interesting remarks.
Regards,
David

If anyone could have a look to the other shot in the folder, I'd be
very glad to here from you on the comparison of the two...
Thank you. Best regards to all,
David

My concern was to get something close to the visual impression I had when shooting. The colors weren't more saturated... there isn't a true red cast, but just the real color of the stone, a red granite..

Hand held shot, during a stride along this narrow river. Thanks for
any comment.
