The somewhat mottled lighting doesn't bother me. I don't think all photos need to look like they were shot in the studio. I think the fact that it was a "found" object and not a studio setup makes me like it even more. -
Nice composition. I like the way you fit the lines of the piano in the edges and corners of the frame.

This has always been one of my favorite images. I like the way it
makes you wonder what the child is doing and thinking. Photgraphs
that make you wonder have always been some of my very favorites.
