Personally I would have preferred placement of the bench to begin in the far right corner and give my eye more room to travel. Never the less, nice image.

This is a stunning image. The horizon is slightly above center which avoids the picture being halved. The saturated colors from the light are very striking. The only thing that I find distressing from this image is the clouds which have been burned out. Perhaps with manipulation in Photo Shop you could get them back and/or a tighter crop minimizing the sky. You have beautiful colors throughout your photograph.

I would like to have seen your subject a little more off center giving her more room to the left of the image.

Arthur, what you actually see on the leaf edges is frost, which is why I took this particular photo.

Carlos, I believe I do have an image or two where I had backed off. I'll pull them out again and take a second look with regard to your comment.

I like your image, however, I'd really like to see the rest of the subject matter.

You were on the right track when you used the back drop. However, you should have cropped the top and bottom to isolate your subject.

Congratulations on a photo well executed. The yellow painted lines walk the viewer right into the arch. Good technical application in blurring the traffic. While some could find it distracting, I don't. Well done, Nick.

Very nice. Many photos have been taken from this general area in Grand Teton National Park, but it is obvious that you have pressed on to find a better spot from which to compose your picture. The fog hanging in the background adds a nice touch. It actually, in my opinion, creates a layer of depth to the picture. Nicely done, Miles.

Superb composition and excellent color harmonies.
Very well done!

I think I'd take about 10% off the top of the photo to tighten up the composition, but other than that, a great shot with dramatic and well placed lightning. Stopping down to f16 would helped with the depth of field. These new tiny viewfinder digital SLRS are hard to manually focus, especially in the dark!
