Good start, no problems, sharp, contrast, well balanced. Might learn a bit by cropping the left, but that would 'bullseye' the barn. Only thing I find distracting is the tree 'almost' on the left edge of the barn is a bit distracting. For a starter it is good. Enjoy the hobby!

This photo is as tight as you can go. You left everything out not needed. Not an extra detail. Print it large, mount it and give to your dentist/doctor/lawyer and you will always get professional service.

Good subject. Looks like a graphic art, for some great, but I don't see a photograph. Where is trying for an 'illustration'???

A histogram would show this photo is too dark and too bright - washed out.... and it looks great. Rules are never right, just guides and when you show somthing as nice (very nice) as this, you throw the rules away!

Just made it the wallpaper for my wife to see. Thank you. Composition is excellent. Might even stay on my compute till 10pm. The more I look at it the more I wonder why the ground 'looks' tilted - Ha! The sky is level!!!! Tks for sharing a photo I would expect to see in the main lobby anywhere. Say blowup to 60X40.

Been shooting floral for 7 years. A Great Keeper. Framing is good, like the faid out.

Hold a sheet of paper so you don't see the sky.... how about that!

Try cropping off the right where the light on the water ends under the hill. Shifts the focus point (the boy in the boat) off 'dead' center and softens to photo.

Steped over the line. Not a photo. Is art. As photo strained thru photoshop too much. As art looks too much like photo. Ya, I'm a old fart, bet it is groovy, if I could knock off 40 years!

Crop the trees - chop off the top 1/3 and now you see the river and ice.
Get real wild and add a dash of blue saturation to the whole photo - if you like to 'enhance' the coolness of the photo.
If I didn't like it I wouldn't write so much.

This is an example of why I'm a photographer. The world is beautiful, if only you stop and look.

Sky at top too dark, unreal.

The tree (left) frames the photo and gives the photo depth. Without the tree it would be like a thousand other photos. Nice, my wallpaper for the day.
Thank You

I do macro floral shots a lot and you have an excellent photo! Kind of shot I would be willing to share and maybe sell a few prints. Details on Camera, lighting???

Indoor studio? lighting? film/digital? Why white trim... draws you eyes away from subject.

Now I know what Flameing Red looks like. Dark and bright reds into orange that almost is yellow. Delightful, I thank you for the viewing.
(It's 4:30am and I needed a pick-me-up with my tea.)
