Can we use these converters EG:Sigma APO Tele Converter 1.4x EX with

non Sigma EG; Canon lenses? The Sigma website declares that they

should not be used with ANY lens other than those listed on the site,

but how "true" is this?

Hi. Im considering buying a 70-300mm Sigma lens for my 350D. Should I

pay more attention to the DG aspect of a lens or the APO aspect, as

Sigma seem to produce numerous versions. a) (70-300mm F4-5.6 APO

Macro) with APO, but not DG. B) (70-300mm F4-5.6 DG Macro) which is

DG but not APO, and of course the newer combination (70-300mm DG F4-

5.6 APO DG Macro), which is still relatively cheap, but more

expensive than the othet versions mentioned. I cannot afford the

Sigma EX HSM or Canon L telephoto lenses. THANKS
