I found these photos a while ago on PBASE, of the ZF 50/f2 on a D200, which might help, although not portrait shots.

You can get that information by checking the Exif data on your last image - you can download freeware viewers, if you need one, like Opanda IExif from www.opanda.com

Hi Scott

I have a Minolta IVf incident meter. Great meter, although I've
mainly only used it with studio flash so far.

Taking the dome off and looking inside, the centre is glass-covered,
with a grey appearance, and the photocell is visible behind this.
It looks like the assembly sequence, looking from the front, is
glass, coloured plastic (ND filters?), then photocell. Not sure
what order the filters go in, or if it matters....I'm not brave
enough to take the head apart to look! There's nothing floating
about loose in there, though. If it were me, I would take it back
to the supplier and get a replacement.

Hope this helps.

I can open the link too, but it really is Canon digital.....no,
wait.....that first shot, taken with a Canon digital......when you
blow it up 200% and increase brightness to 90%......does that show a
left-eyed Leica guy taking a picture? I'm sure I can make out the
red spot. Hey....wait...is he using a Noctilux there??!!!......
