I am currently interested in purchasing a 40mm lens for my

Rollei 6006. I primarily do landscape photography. My question is in

relation to the different lens that are available. What are the

difference between the 40mm f3.5 Schneider Super-Angulon PQ HFT super

wide angle and the 40mm f 4.9 Zeiss Distagon HFT super wide angle?

It sounds like this filter has interesting yet limited uses. However, I do not believe that the Cokin 173 can be adapted to fit a Lee filter system. Does anyone know how to adapt it or know of an equivalent filter from another manufacturer that would work.

I have a question regarding filters, in particular the Cokin

173 blue/yellow filter that is so frequently mentioned in the book

"Canadian Landscapes" by Daryl Benson and Dale Wilson.

1). Do other landscape photographers use this filter and like it as

much as the authors of this book?

2). Is it correct that this filter is more than a polarizing filter

with an 81 series filter?

3). I own a filter system by Lee. Are these systems interchangeable?

4). Does anyone know of another maker of a similar filter that would

work on a Lee system or mount on Nikon series lenses?

I have a question for the audience :

I have a Rollei 6006 with a standard 80mm lens. Currently I would like

to expand my lens collection. I primarily do landscape photography. I

was considering purchasing a 150 or 250mm lens. Are there any

important factors to watch out for in this selection? Are the current

lenses interchangeable with the 6006 and 6008 (if I ever upgrade)?

Where would be a good place to make this purchase? Thank you very much

In June I am planning a trip to Banff. I realize that the area is very

beautiful with great photo opportunities; however, are there any other

"must see" areas close by? Also, I am interesting in photographing

wildlife (for example mountain lions and bears). Are the chances of

seeing such animals high enough to justify renting a 300mm lens for

the trip?
