it's a USAF F-15 Eagle..... faster than sound? Wow that would be cool. I've never been to an airshow with window-breaking, heart attack-inducing sonic booms involved.
Problem with sonic booms is, for example, they would probably break every window in the control tower and surrounding buildings and all the children and half the adults present would start crying. They're much LOUDER than thunder.
