I am user of new ILCE-7RM4A camera and I ask your help to solve problem of on top Exposure compensation dial unlock. Sony Help Guide states: "Pressing the lock button at the center switches the exposure compensation dial between the locked and unlocked status. The dial is unlocked when the lock button is popped up and the white line is visible."
It was opposite on my camera. Though sometimes it was unlocked. Why? That is makes me nervous. I even made rear Control wheel do +/- exp. comp. But accidentally I reset on top dial from zero position and cannot set it back to zero. The lock button is popped up, but dial is not unlocked. Besides white line is visible always. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Run the head cleaning and head alignment utilities
Thanks a lot for, but I did it, of course.

Dear community, I have an old fight with my Artisan 1430, in my prints black characters are crossed by white horizontal lines, when I print a letter or even jpg image by Photoshop. I use best settings when printing. What to do eliminate this problem? Please help, all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

F is the name of the Nikon lens mount, whereas AF stands for auto focus. Nikon AF lenses are F mount too. Nikon mount has remained almost unchanged from the 70s, unlike Canon’s.
I have a F to E adapter and my Nikon AF lenses fit fine. It needs a bit trying though, by rotating at different angles before it clicks into place. Perhaps you need a bit of patience.
Thanks a lot for your response. You are right. I sent this adapter back to seller, came to B&H, bought another brand, and figured out that working in manual focus on electronic viewfinder not very easy.

For 3 month of working with ILCE-6400, I made tons of street photos. I am happy I no need to sell them. But I still do not understand MR mode and unable to register parameters in A, S, M modes. It is mystery for me.

Thank you very much for the response. Of course it helps, though...
I found another way. Just switch AF/MF to AEL, make expo on sky, lock it, then focus and shot. Dark area will be alleviate in pp. Thank you.

Dear fellows, are Nikon F and AF mounts geometrical identical? This question follows from the fact that my Fotasy Nikon F adapter to Sony E cannot fit to Nikon AF lens. Please respond.

Thank you for Fuji praise, though, I think, Sony ILCE-6400 has a lot of controls and keys for manual commands also. Hardship of using menu setting is in of contradicting parameters which choosed. Some training is needed. Now, I know that is a third party's software for good edition Sony image formats.

Thank you Howard. Of course, I have tried mode P, and should state, that shooting in backlight needs to add some + for expos. So I should be smarter than Sony. But I think, major problem in Sony ILCE camera is RAW batch editing for JPG images.

Good camera for retired old ones, ooh, I still looking for easy setting. Hope somebody lucky enough would share it.

Thanks a lot. I made default resetting, and the problem fixed. Should state: there was single shot mode, but I photographed in low light premise, when problem occurred and continued even in the sunny day, so a cause is still unknown for me. It is good to have default resetting!

Dear photographers I am new to the camera SONY ILCE-6400α. The overall impression of the camera is good, but the process of camera shooting is often incomprehensible, and the instructions are very complicated, for example, when I shoot a single frame, the camera takes a few repeated shots, then the process follows and the desired image appears in viewfinder. During the process, the object is removed from view and it is impossible to repeat the snapshot. Please advise how to change this mode. Thank you in advance for your attention. David

<p>I work with Nikon D200 and my flash Nikon SB-80DX, which serves me more than ten years, but now when I put it on my new Nikon D610 camera it does not work (at flash A mode and any others}. What settings should I make, exclude buying new SB 910. I am just amateur with limited budget. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. </p>

<p>Dear <a href="/photodb/user?user_id=3670956">Eric Arnold</a> Thank you for your very interesting response. <br /> But I have a specific question regarding Tamrom telephoto 70-300mm lens focusing and using full-time manual function, particularly having in mind manual's precautions when set on AF mode(?) interfering with focusing ring. Frankly, this chart of manual is mysterious for me.</p>

My problem with Sony a7R IVA Mirrorless Camera
in Sony/Minolta
Posted
It is about Sony a7R IVA Mirrorless Camera failure. Generally, I adore this camera. However, sometimes, it gets me trouble. That is: at my photo session drive mode self changed from single to another like BRK. Does anybody experience such failure? Thank you very much.
