  1. I am user of new ILCE-7RM4A camera and I ask your help to solve problem of on top Exposure compensation dial unlock. Sony Help Guide states: "Pressing the lock button at the center switches the exposure compensation dial between the locked and unlocked status. The dial is unlocked when the lock button is popped up and the white line is visible."

It was opposite on my camera. Though sometimes it was unlocked. Why? That is makes me nervous. I even made rear Control wheel do +/- exp. comp. But accidentally I reset on top dial from zero position and cannot set it back to zero. The lock button is popped up, but dial is not unlocked. Besides white line is visible always. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  2. Dear community, I have an old fight with my Artisan 1430, in my prints black characters are crossed by white horizontal lines, when I print a letter or even jpg image by Photoshop. I use best settings when printing. What to do eliminate this problem? Please help, all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  3. F is the name of the Nikon lens mount, whereas AF stands for auto focus. Nikon AF lenses are F mount too. Nikon mount has remained almost unchanged from the 70s, unlike Canon’s.

I have a F to E adapter and my Nikon AF lenses fit fine. It needs a bit trying though, by rotating at different angles before it clicks into place. Perhaps you need a bit of patience.

Thanks a lot for your response. You are right. I sent this adapter back to seller, came to B&H, bought another brand, and figured out that working in manual focus on electronic viewfinder not very easy.

  4. Dear photographers I am new to the camera SONY ILCE-6400α. The overall impression of the camera is good, but the process of camera shooting is often incomprehensible, and the instructions are very complicated, for example, when I shoot a single frame, the camera takes a few repeated shots, then the process follows and the desired image appears in viewfinder. During the process, the object is removed from view and it is impossible to repeat the snapshot. Please advise how to change this mode. Thank you in advance for your attention. David

  6. <p>I work with Nikon D200 and my flash Nikon SB-80DX, which serves me more than ten years, but now when I put it on my new Nikon D610 camera it does not work (at flash A mode and any others}. What settings should I make, exclude buying new SB 910. I am just amateur with limited budget. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. </p>
  7. <p>Dear <a href="/photodb/user?user_id=3670956">Eric Arnold</a> Thank you for your very interesting response. <br /> But I have a specific question regarding Tamrom telephoto 70-300mm lens focusing and using full-time manual function, particularly having in mind manual's precautions when set on AF mode(?) interfering with focusing ring. Frankly, this chart of manual is mysterious for me.</p>
