Umm.. Am I the only one that has noticed that:

A.  The wheelchair is way too small

B.  It's way sharper than the non-moving carpets at the same distance as wheelchair.

I call photoshop all the way.  (hand held shot with slow shutter, thus the blurry carpets, with the wheelchair added after the fact.)

Would be a neat shot if it were real.

I'm not sure it's overly original.  There must be millions of photos of someone walking in front of a wall with various supporting details.

That being said this image is particularly striking and I like it very much.  The hand and the silhouette of the face do it for me.  As well as the substitution of detail/texture in the stone for the hidden detail/texture that must be present in this man's face.  

I wonder what the original file looks like.

You split the poor little guy down the middle! Pretty impressive bandsaw technique in my opinion. Though you should fix the vertical line between the cat's legs.

Seriously though- great work, effective illustration.
