Had a Maglite and Canon 10D, 50mm 1.8 lens, set at 100iso. On Bulb

setting, I exposed for about 4-5 seconds and used the flashlight to

paint the scene. Just experimenting. Found it really cool. It was

dark in the kitchen and the only thing lighting up the scene was me

painting with the flashlight.......

This was a test of my brand new Canon 50mm f1.8 lens for my Canon

Digital Camera. I love the DOF in it and how about the quality for

$75. If you look closely at the eyes, you can see me taking the

picture. The picture was cropped. The original was a picture of the

entire dog and I just cropped out the eyes. Please critique..thank

This picture was taken with a Sony DSC-V1 5megapixel camera. It was

on automatic and I used flash indoors & night. That's my son Jacob

getting massaged by his GREAT-grandma. I found the skin tones really

cool. Anyway, please critique because I will like to get better at

taking photos.

I didn't notice the picture was bent and pointing out that it needed to have a straighter horizon is such a big tip for me... And yes, alot of people at my job are asking for copies and they also want it to make a screen saver...it's not perfect, but for me it's a big improvement from my other crappy photos which I am truly embarrassed of..

Hello, I am just a beginner and this is one of my pictures out of all

the junk pictures I have taken...about 100 rolls. I don't have a

photographer eye yet so I just see a picture with cool colors and it

looks pleasing. I know you professionals will see alot more. Please

help.
