<p>With any CF card in my camera, I get a CF Err message and the camera won't do anything, but without a card in the camera everything works fine.</p>

<p>Anyone experience this before or have any ideas?</p>

I find that when I shoot outside, I use fill flash and I get this ugly

pinpoint cathlight. Does anyone know how to add realistic looking, larger

catchlights using PS?

I'm looking into getting a one light setup (AB strobe and reflector)

for use with a canon digital rebel and a small studio 11x12. Which

AB strobe should I get? 400, 800, or 1600? I'm a studio lighting

novice and I've read that digital doesn't need as much power, Alien

Bee even says this on their site, but no explanation as to why?

Will a 400 do? Is there any scenario where I would need more power?

I am the still photographer on a low budget movie set and have been

asked to do the photography for poster art and DVD cover. I know

it's fine for the DVD, but will 6MP digital files be big enough for

the movie poster? The poster will be printed 27" x 40" and will

presumably be made up of several pictures and graphic art.

I have been approached about being the still photographer on a low

budget independant film, and have been asked to submit rates, but

have no idea of what to charge? Has anyone done this? Any ideas?

I have owned 2 Olympus Digital camera's and have been very happy with picture quality. Even at high ISO there wasn't any noticable grain. Can you post one of your shots so we can see and myabe suggest something?

Just got a 10d and in playing around with I noticed that

the 'pictures left' number changes with ISO changes. With an empty

256mb card at ISO 100 (large fine) I can get 70 shots, but the number

goes down as ISO goes up? Only 47 at ISO 1600. I never read this

anywhere prior to buying (dpreview, reviews on this site, etc.), is

this common knowledge?
