What do I want to discuss? Well... quite simple. What do you think? How could it be improved?
-
can I have a critique please? Or is it too much to ask? Quite crazy having a photocritique forum if all the photos I put in it never get critiqued...
-
So, what do you think? This is the first photo that I have uploaded
from my forthcoming London portfolio. Any advice... on the
printing? how about giving it a colour tone? I was thinking of a
slightly blue tone... any suggestions?

interesting study of patterns!

I took this photo a long time ago, and have only had it printed
small - can you tell me a) what you think in terms of picture
structure, and b) what you think I should do with it in the
darkroom or Photoshop. I'm fairly pleased with how it came out,
but my photographic technique can always be improved, so post
some tips...

Whoops about the 'finger' situation!

Really good colour, good composition as well.

Thanks for that. This literally was the first roll I took, since then my composition is improving, and I have a great teacher. I'd disagree with the 'thirds' rule for this photograph though, due to the fact that when it is printed there is a great texture on the gravel.
Thanks for the feedback.
Anyway, I'm going back to Dungeness today to make some more photographs (that should be it's real spelling!), and I'll upload what I got once I've developed them. I've got some more shots too.
Cheers.

I'm usually a B&W-er, but this photo is brilliantly composed and uses is nice and sharp. Gets my seal of approval.

I just want to get some feedback on this photo I did down at
Dungeness, a really popular spot in the UK for photography.
This is my first proper roll of film that I've taken since my interest
in photography culminated this year.
By the way, I also developed and printed it myself.

This photo is from my first roll I've taken (since getting in to photography as a 'proper' amateur - not just a Family Holiday crapshoot thing). I'm not particularly interested in what camera I use, or how I develop it. I'm more interested in the ideas. So, anybody else with 'creative inflictions' rather than having orgasms over lenses should contact and comment. Thanks!
