1.
I plan to purchase a previously owned Imacon Flextight Precision II or III.
and would like to know a bit more about the model I'm getting, before I get it.
I require it for scanning primarily 120mm color and B&W negs.
Since they are discontinued, the information I'm looking for about them has been difficult to find.
There seems to be a variety of models of the Flextight Precision II and III, like a 949, 848, 343, or 646.
I have not been able as yet, to find descriptions of each one to compare them.
The comparisons I have found on the web are between the Imacon and other makers,
like Nikon or Epson, but not between the different models.
Other than one being newer than another, is one Imacon model preferred over another and why, etc?
This is confusing to someone who isn't familiar with these machines.
Is there a gestation chart that will outline the time of manufacture and options of the different models?
I would appreciate any information someone out there could offer to clarify this.
I'm not looking for information regarding the newer Hasselblad X models.
Thanks

 2.
I am traditionally a Hasselblad shooter. I have a number of awesome Hassy lenses and have recently purchased a Canon 7D, but haven't received it yet. Does anyone have experience with coupling a Hassy lens, for example a fisheye 30mm lens to a DSLR, aps-c (In my case, a Canon 7D)? My question is what the effective focal length would be of a medium format lens considering the .6 multiplier?
I can figure the difference if it's a normal DSLR lens, but a medium format lens on a 35mm body confuses me.
Thanks
