I played with it a bit in PS..I feathered the dark and light areas to adjust for a more even exposure and played with unsharp mask for contrast...it wasn't a great improvement though as the lighting is just to hot...happy shooting

I like the concept but I feel it could be improved if it was symetrical. Also the eyes need to be razor sharp in a shot like this imho...happy shooting
  1. Looks great! The only thing I would change is maybe use the despeckle or smooth it out a bit.. it seems a little pixelated, but otherwise - coming from an equestrian- a wonderful portrait!

Thanks for the comment. It is a great cam for the money..a steal. the lense is very sharp and exposure is well metered. It doesn't resolve like my sony 707 but its much sharper than my S40.. very inpressive for what it is.

Hi, I think the shot has some great potential with a bit of work. You have a great dynamic range here so a strong bump in contrast / unsharp mask would really bring this shot out. I also feel the border is a bit to large causing some distraction from the composition. I would have taken about 2 steps left so there would be some space between the subject tree and the one just to it's left in the background. This is simply my opinion and I hope it is taken constructively. Remember, art is in the eye of the beholder!! Best to you and Happy Shooting!!
