I see your point about the city being lit. I like the fact that the buldings are darker than the sky. No, I didn't convert it to B&W, this is shot with tri-x.

Great timing. I'd like to see more space on the left. It's not a square and it's not a proper 35mm rectangle. She's doing a back flip and will go in hands first, I think. Congrats.

You know, "Christ will return" and the women on the far right is looking

up as if he's on his way down now. Does it work or not? Forget the

ratings, a simple yes or no will do.

  1. Yes, I used a tripod. I shot about twelve exposures and have six useable frames. Next time I'll experiment with some fill flash though I do like the darkness and light as it is in this image.

That's great. I think I'd try a little crop down from the top. Also, I can see a bit of a black border on the top and left sides that you might want to crop out. The ripple in the water really makes this photo as well as the colors and textures at the bottom of the fountain/water.
  2. Great shot. What a nice day it must have been. I think the hills are a bit centered. I'd crop up from the bottom right below where the water starts to shimmer. It might be my monitor but I notice there are vertical dark lines in the water. It's more pronounced on the left.
  3. Great effect. It does looks like a Terradactal flying at high speed. When I look at the middle it also seems to be a person pulling themself out of a crevice. Two photos in one.

Really nice. I like the reflections and the long sweeping curves. I tend to agree with a tighter crop. I would try to isolate the people, relections and curves more.
