Just wanted to know what you think of this one.

Beautiful! I really love seeing wild orchids especially when they are shot so nicely! I wish those grew here!

Beautiful! I really love seeing wild orchids especially when they are shot so nicely! It is nice to be able to show all the detail in such small flowers that people would otherwise never see.

This is the first time I have seen this one blooming. Just wanted
to hear some thoughts.

Thank GOD for telephoto lenses. The normal lens (no additonal lens)
allowed me to get this shot at the maximum setting. It also helped
that it was a large gator too.

Just wanted to know what others thought of the image.

Well actually a few days later I put them in the pool again and he managed to get away while my daughter was "watching" them and I was across the yard. Never found him again.

Absolutely wonderful! Definitely one to be proud of!

I think I would prefer to not have seen the black frame on top and bottom

Thanks, I was not sure if I should have placed the title on the top or bottom. Bottom (or none) probably would have been better. I will try the mylar over the flash close up and see if it helps.

Just wanted to get a few opinions. I felt it turned out good for
something I almost did not bother to take. I tired to get him
jumping but a digital delay is far too long to get the shot.

Very nice! When I first saw it I thought it was a painting. Very nice effect all the way around!

I would like to know some thoughts on this shot. I was trying to get
a special moment.

I love the shot. It looks like the addition of the backround (assumming it was) is a little harsh along the right branch in a few areas. It may help to soften that "line" as well.
I saw your later note. Not added so, just a great shot then :). There is just a spot or two that looked a little too "sharp" where the backround meets the right branch so it very well could be just the smaller then original size. Thanks for letting me know. I noticed a similar backround on other shots and I really like the results and with it not added even more so!
Thanks again

I would have liked to have seen the last little bit of the petals in the photo.
-
This would have been a little better with out the leaf in the corner but it is an great shot.
-
Perhaps seeing the man would be even better????
-
Very Nice Bulbophylum!

Probably should have cut the top to remove the fuzzyness.
