when i saw this my first thought was 'Yeah!'. i've just been critiquing 'recent shots' and the mediocrity got me so bored i had to stop. Phew!
-
probo a market for this as prints

yes its a great shot and one i would be totally stoked to have taken but... it *is* a cliched shot, and when i look at it i dont think 'wow i've got to go there' or wow look at that, which i guess travel shots maybe should do, instead i think 'huh, look at that, another camel shot'. then again i'm less of a 'get on a tour'/'conde nast traveller' which this shot would be good for maybe.

some of the most intense photos i've seen for a while. each one really takes a while to look at and take in the details. really great, thanks for showing all these.
-
curious to see what you people out there think...
-
awesome, really feel like i'm right there, nice scene, very peaceful.
-
something nice bout this, personally i would've made it black n white and maxed out the contrast to leave only the curves in the bricks and more of a white floor. oh and lost the frame. but that would be a different picture.

it looks like you can see the light rays flying out and covering the mountains.

something great going on here. it reminds me of the photographer who make steh giant prints of Paris apprtment blocks. imho this would benefit from photoshopping out the perspective angling with the windows, and then maybe using PS again with levels or curves or saturation to seperate the bikes more from the background.

awesome composition, interesting coloring for what i guess was just white, but it works great.

awesomely depressing, to me. looks like some epic painting. and amongst it, great composition.
-
now thats originality
-
your whole portfolio is some of the most original work i've seen in a long time. really great idea with the kite, but more than just that the results that come out are really great.

here's another paradise, other side of the world:

this type of shot always seems difficult to get the mood across, but here you've done it.

yeh now we're talkin! i like this one way better than the masts/sunset one. i reckon this would look even better if the entire shadows from the trees were in the pic, but thats just me. the horison also looks a bit skew but that may be me again!
-
interesting idea, but to be honest i like the other fotos on your website way more (and the one 2 along, wow how great!)...
thats not to say that these arent great photos by the way. like the others they show real professionalism.

thanks for the comments. interesting point with the sharpness, i actually tried to make this one slightly blurry to increase the 'space-age'/dreamlike feel and make it less easy to focus on a point hopefully resulting in more of a general focussing on the picture, this has seemed to make the pictures more '3d' in the past and more like I am 'in' the picture. but maybe it would be better sharper!

what do you think of this? comments and rating would be appreciated, thanks.

original for sure, what a cool photo, its almost like a famous drawing by a famous artist both of which are not yet famous...
-
I like it with the blue haze. This is definately one of those Class A pics that would be great as a poster.

Your photos are an inspiration. Really amazing all of them, a few of them are places that I have been to as well, but returned with way less appealing results.
