I am sure you are aware, since your are using a rangefinder camera, you have to determine the position of the polarizer before you attach it to the lens. Therefore, you will not be rotating the polarizer while it is on the lens. The hood will not be a factor, and to prevent flare, you would always want to use the hood!

What vignetting?????

Assuming you can sell the 35mm equipment, shoot landscapes, and love

BIG enlargements, you can purchase a Fuji 690GSW brand new. This

will provide a 6 X 9 cm image area - much larger than 35mm. This

camera has great optics! However, since it has no light meter, you

will have to purchase one separately. It has a fixed focal length

lens (about 28mm in 35mm terms), but I find this a bonus. I can

concentrate on finding interesting compositions and not spend time

making equipment choices.

If the above assumptions are true, I say get rid of the 35mm; you will

NEVER go back!!

Also, 6X9 will have the same file size as 35mm because it is also a

2/3 ratio.
