Have you gone on the relevant sites and got the latest drivers for XP, and have you also upgraded XP itself via the upgrade on the net, as most computers you buy today were packed 6 months ago.

As one of those sort of people that just puts his snaps up, i think maybe the first statement might be a tad harsh, I don`t think this is meant to be a pro board? or am i wrong, i thought it was for people who enjoyed photography? It`s annoying i feel when people don`t leave comments, but I in truth don`t think you will over come it, if you were to implement 1. then you would just get more "naffs shots" and though i would like to see 2. i think it is just as easy to leave say !! which would be text entered, so i think at the end of the day, you will just have to live with it.

Rob , that really is the best bit of advice, a nice rating is good, but really this sire should be about comments and trying to get better at what you enjoy, and constructive comment always helps.

Little to really see in Lima, but if you can book into a hotel at Machu Picchu over night all the better, as once the last train leaves the site about 3 if I remember correctly, the site is almost empty and you have it to your self, to wonder round. Cusco is nice, but we were warned to be careful while wondering round the town, but the site there is good. I would only take a 35 mm myself.

I must admit from my point of view, It`s not a low rating that bugs me, but the fact that someone, puts a low score with no reason why, when i get a low rating i jump to that person photo`s expecting to see mega snaps, but quite often, i see naff stuff, or no photo`s at all. It would be nice i think if someone put a score below 3, the they have to put some comment why the feel the photo is bad, or they can not place the score.

Looks Good Andrew, Long way up from Boston though, I think we are going to stop in Portland first then go on from there so who knows.

Yea i was looking round the coast there looks like there are some nice little islands that way as well, trouble is with a place this size, i won`t see half i want to, always the way though, you run out of holidays well before you run out of photo opportunities. .

Thanks, there are some interesting places there, the portland lighthouse is spooky, looks just like the portland bill light house here in the UK, but there are some good places to start there, I`ve no idea where i`m going in Maine as my girlfirend is booking it up in Boston, so untill I fly in I just won`t know, but looking forward to it, camera a ready..
