amazing sky, the setting sun was at my back

Thanks! Book = commercial product portfolio, not an actual book.
-
something for my new book, any comments?
-
first attempt at anything vaguely erotic
-
Any thoughts?

Experiment with gels and industrial products.

Just another little something for my product photography portfolio.
Any thoughts?

Just an odd little product shot, what do y'all think?

Thanks! Sometimes I only see the flaws in work I do, but I suppose it's alright - the print came out really nice. Lighting shiny metal isn't easy.
The cord was lighted seperately by a hard edge spot light. Hiding it's reflection on the phone took some doing. 4 lights total.
-
I didn't get the lighting right, but at least it took a long time.
-
Just some ordinary bolts.

I loved the new Adidas print ads so I tried my own version.
-
The moon was there, I combined two exposures from exactly the same scene.
-
Not terribly original I know, but after doing night photography with
Provia and Velvia for so long, I thought this result was pretty
cool. The Kodak doesn't shift nearly as much towards green, and I
kind of like the way the red marker lights saturated and bloomed.
-
I cut a strip of paper, glued it together, then shot it twice.
Please let me know what you think.

This shot gives me hope that one day, one of my relentlessly mediocre shots will also be a POW. Really, it's neat shot but I see dozens of others posted every day that are vastly more compelling and original.

Experimenting with lights and a cow skull.

Just a weird little idea I had one day.

Great shot - really tells a story and I love the sharpness and color. Was there an on-camera flash or strobe involved?

Photoshop can be used for good or for evil. In this case it's been used for very, very good. Awesome image.

I like this version best, Chris. Not too shabby for a kid just barely out of high school. :)
-
It's a photo school assignment - shoot a beverage ad, using ambient
light only. Any suggestions?

You called it Rogan! No filter used. I was driving home after taking this outdoor shot, http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1301590 and had some loaded film leftover.
Underexposed by at least a full stop. I'm not savvy with Photoshop enough to get the color balance right, I think there might be some weird color shifting going on with the film. If someone wants to take a crack at a differet balance I can send you a jpeg of the raw scan. kws101@attbi.com

This is a reflection from a glass skyscraper onto an adjacent concrete
building. If you look closely you can see the "grid" of the concrete
structure - it's not a narrow DOF shot, the blurred colors are created
by the surrounding cityscape reflected and diffused by the glass building.
