    I like the tones and simplicity, but find the softness and flare bothersome. I'd probably like it better of the camera position were lower as well. I realize that it's an old shot, but in my opinion it's not up to the standards of the rest of your portfolio (I guess that's a good thing!)

    I agree on the softness and the lighting, and the right side of her face looks somewhat overexposed. I wonder whether I might like it better in color. The colors in your other shots of the same subject are wonderful, which makes me wonder about this one.

    There's something about the color I don't love. It may be a little artificial looking; the skin tone is somewhat unnatural. It feels like it should be such a warm, wonderful moment, yet the colors don't give me the warm fuzzies.

    I think this is the better crop, but I prefer the darker background of the first one. If there is a way to darken the background of this one without losing the contrails, I think that would be the best combination.

     

    Not only is the brown color of the contrails key to the power of the image, but also that the plane appears to be flying away from the camera, as though it were headed into orbit around the moon. Much cooler than if the plane were simply flying across the frame.
