Never been to Pompei, but I've been to Bath, England, and seen some cool Roman stuff. Question: with your very wide-angle lens, is this chamber actually pretty small? Seems fairly big in the photo, but then I saw the lens used. Nice shot: very understated, subtle, with great lighting.

This is superb: blue-on-blue blueness all around, lambent glow of light, spindly fingers of wood thrusting from the water, and the blue frame -- the overall beauty of this shot is that of stillness in an acqueous, dusky world. Thanks for a great photograph.

This is the highest I've rated any photo yet. This has an otherworldly, ethereal, hyper-realistic character to it. It's like the visual equivalent of a DFX 3-D audio enhancement to your favorite MP3 song. Someday you'll have to give us a Photoshop lesson on how to impart just this beautiful quality of light. Great stuff.

I really like this photo! I think the blurred monorail works great, plus all the blue/purple hits you over the head with coolness, both chromatically and hipness-wise. Good job.

I also think the few stray gray grapes should've been tinted yellow. Did you leave them B&W so we'd know what the originals looked like, or what? But the stark yellow-on-gray is a master stroke -- found myself looking at the photo for a long time; very effective. Nice work!

While hiking, my son trudged between stream and rock bed with stones
big and small to toss into the water. With this shot I caught him
carrying one of the bigger rocks, walking more carefully than usual
with the heavy cargo.

Set my Coolpix 885 to manual, raised the ISO to 400, turned off the
flash, and shot away. This is my 4-yr-old son, who wouldn't hold
still a second. Turns out I don't really mind the slight movement,
especially at the slowish shutter speed. Any critique would be great.
Taken at the IGN building in Manhattan, right before my best friend proposed to his now fiancee.
