Great fall day in Portland, Maine.

The antlers overlapping the face of the third takes away from the symmetry of the composition which I think is the strength of this photo.
Good eye for seeing a photo opportunity but perhaps one frame before and one frame after would have produced an even better result. It's the minor details that make the difference between good and great and some of those you won't see until you get back the negs. That being said, it is always wise to shoot two or three frames when lining up a moving progression.

Great eye. Wonderful composition. Love the grain.

Water, circles and shadows. Wonderful

I like it but don't shake the tripod

It makes sense to use the 1/3 rule in composition when you have something else in the background. I do like the picture of the man though.

Very good. Great subject. Although, I'd like to see this compressed a little more with a longer lens to show more ripples in the track. A haze filter would improve the sky. This could also use a focal point ideally a train but maybe someone walking up/down the track in the distance. If you could go back there it would be worth a few more shots. These things I've mentioned make the difference between good and great. This is good but could be a 10.

Fine photo. This one has what many of the other pictures on photo.net lack focal point. There are also strong lines leading into the image instead of out. The only thing that bothers me is the lamp in the upper right corner (minor really ). It seems jumbled in with the bushes and confusing the symetry of the lines. I don't know if it could be recomposed though without destroying the other strong qualities. A wider lens might do wonders to the scene. That said, this is a wonderful image. Thanks for sharing it with us.

If you waited for a clowd to cover some of that harsh light and chose a different angle here you would have a great photo. Go back if you can.

Nice shadows. A little dark though.

Don't be a hack.

This photo is one of those that is better than it first seems. Nice background and I also like the model looking down and it's good to see the back of someone's neck for a change. Beautiful necks are underated.

Try cropping this in half. I think the top is very interesting.
-
Nice view. I feel as if I'm going to fall off of here!

I think you should have had more on the top. This would make finding the deer in mid leap a wonderful find. Blah, blah, blah,... Like I should comment on such a wonderful shot . Well done.

Graphic, strong, industrial. I like it. Do more...

Excellent photo without the bottle. With the bottle a story is told. Well done.

Just enough action in her hair and shoe tying to make this natural and beautiful. A lot of good choices were made here. Well done.

Yum, yum, I can almost taste the colors!

Sometimes less time is more. This was exposed too long.

Too much film latitude. Oh, sorry no film.

love it

I disagree with the crop top suggestion. That upper right corner is where you want to be. Zanado.. Well done.

Mesmerising lines leading into the picture - a train in the distance and then... Another one! Ah, what a pleasant surprise. Well done. Wonderful.
