Children of Bombay by Dario Mitidieri -http://www.mitidieri.com/
By far, my favourite book. Most books including those by HCB etc have a few average/poor images that let down the whole book - NOT this one!
Highly highly recommended.

Thumbs up to Yee for the most interesting question in some time ;-)

Yee, as politely as I can, "Are you serious?"

Thanks Sayyid, although I cheated a little bit by using a celebrity ;-)

Travis, Peter, Allen, work has been really great, loving my job. I sold my Leica's 4 years ago to buy a digital kit and have a go at being a professional photographer and never knew it would take off so quickly. Definitely the best decision I've ever made.
In this time I have become very proficient at shooting with Canon SLR's, but coming back to Leica allows me the freedom to shoot for myself without worrying about getting everything perfect. It must be the fact that the rangefinder viewfinder is bright and doesn't black out at the moment of exposure, so I do see things differently and more clearly I believe.
Jeff, apology accepted and appreciated, and I apologise if I reacted poorly myself. The internet can make us all do/say things unappropriated at times. All the best.....

There's never enough time to play Peter.....but somehow with my M8, I've found some spare time here and there......Yes Michael, 67 pages, and only from April this year..........and counting......cheers

The images in my portfolio do not represent my professional body of work, they aren't even related. They are just a couple of images I posted as my 'personal images of the week'.
I have only recently acquired the M8, and will slowly include in into my professional work, in areas where it is best suited. The article is very correct indeed, and only time will tell if I will be able to trust this Leica as much as my Canon's.....which is something I never thought I'd hear myself say......but I am enjoying the thrill of using a Leica RF again and not having to spend time developing and scanning my images.

"Dissing them?" You are putting a lot of words into my mouth Jeff, what has gotten into you?
All I said was "I am using one now and enjoy using it much more than my everyday 1D mark II, 1D mark III and 1Ds Mark II cameras."
How do you come to such assumptions based on my above comments, especially when you are not informed?
-
Jeff, what makes you think I don't use my cameras? You obviously know little about me so why assume something negative? Next time you want to do your research before making such comments.....
-
Peter, keep it. You will regret selling it and just buy another anyway...I am using one now and enjoy using it much more than my everyday 1D mark II, 1D mark III and 1Ds Mark II cameras.
Hope you're well mate...
