Many times an image of such simplicity is overlooked.
I think you have done an excellent job in capturing the essential elements while eliminating any extraneous one. Well done.

I do like this photo a great deal. The wonderful bright colors really stand out against the dark background.
The shimmering reflection greatly contrasts the sharpness of the leaves and fruit.

Jason,
I think you have some interesting elements here. Look at the various shades of the sea contrasting with the lower clouds and the beach.
I think the weakest parts are the hut on the left and the upper sky. i would try to crop out the weakest areas and concentrate on your strong elements.

Excellent framing and use of space.
I love the deep richness of the bird's colors against the lighter background.
A wonderful image.

Wonderful action shot. I love the positioning of the hands and arms.
You obviously don't need a large wave to make a great surfing picture.
I will make no cracks about her bathing suit.

I do like the idea with this and your Triple Jumper photo.
I think the Triple Jumper came out better because we could see the jumper's expression.

A great idea and well executed.
I love the expressions on her face.

I love bird-in-flight images. This one is remarkable both technically and aesthetically.
I love the sharpness and the contrast difference between the bird and the background.
The positioning of the bird within the frame is beautiful. You can actually feel the bird in flight.
A wonderful image.

My first thoughts upon seeing this picture was ballet. The beautiful placement of the hands say it all.
Then I saw the title. Well I guess my thoughts weren't so original.
This is a beautiful timed and realized moment. You have captured it perfectly.

I was surprised by the detail in the flames.
