I don't come by here that often anymore. I enjoyed reading your comment. Nice to know somebody appreciates my wacky sense of humor.

  1. For an interesting discussion of the point you are trying to make, check out the book, "Freakonomics." There's a chapter where they cite statistics that crime rates in countries that liberalize abortion tend to drop about 18 years later. The authors draw the conclusion that there is cause and effect; with the cause being that abortion keeps lots of babies from being born into families that really don't want them, and who would raise them poorly. So, in the context of your billboard, the babies with the best chance of growing up up to cure cancer are likely to be the ones the parents wanted in the first place, and who would not be aborted. That's not to say the original billboard is necessarily wrong, but it probably is as a statistical matter.

I knew with you I could depend on a comment representing exquisite taste! I'm just wondering which would handle this subject better now: the 5DIII or the Nikon 800?

A few angles. It's really kind of an ordinary building, but I like the way the

projections caught the light reflecting up from the street.

  2. Sounds a little like what I was trying to do, but with a few refinements (particularly at the end) that will probably make it look a lot better. When I did it, though I improved things, it was still pretty obvious there had been a cover-up attempt.

  3. I love it! I can't think that I've ever seen a body that was improved by being drawn on. Thanks for the work.

And while we're at it, do you have any PS techniques for dealing with underarm stubble? It's not particularly obvious in this image, but it presented a problem in some others from this session.

  4. Actually, I was thinking of the sheathing as being, well, integral to the church, before itself being snipped off. Natural male equipment is reputedly more entertaining than the snipped, and certainly that would seem to be true of a striped church versus a drab one.
