Hello.
I've got a few questions on Ikonta disassembly.
First is: how do you remove the winding knob? It has a screw at the
top that doesn't seem to want to move. I don't want to force it and
I suspect that the pins that hold the 'wings' on top of the winding
knob is actually a single pin that goes through the screw itself and
I need to remove the pin first.
Second: middle element of the lens assembly. how do you remove it
from the shutter? rear and the front unscrewed quite easily...
Third, the bellows. It seemed that the bellows where attached to the
back of the lens with just a threaded ring and no glue. Was there
supposed to be glue and did it just dry out?
Thank you.

could someone please help me determine criteria for selecting an on
camera flash for 1. weddings, 2. 'do-it-all' 'go-anywhere' flash?
my experience is limited to using flash in a studio environment (and
some location work but using studio flashes as well).
how important is motor/extended zoom on 70MZ-5? Thyristor light
control - would it be an external light sensor on 60CT-4 as opposite
to using TTL? Guide numbers for both flashes are specified at
different focal lengths (www.metz.de) but it seems that 60CT-4 is
more powerfull (guide number for 70MZ-5 is 50 at 50mm and for 60CT-4
is 60 at 35mm).
70MZ-5 seems to have more nice features than 60 (flash bracketing,
slave function, modeling light etc...) - how often do you WANT to
use those features during, lets say, average wedding shoot?
i'm curious about possibility of using both flashes with Canon's EOS-
1 and 5 (my main camera is Bronica ETRSi).
and finally, can you use same powerpack with both flashes and which
combination will give me more shots per battery?
which flash would you prefer is the price was the same (i believe it
is almost the same)?
thank you.

i'm having problems attaching/using my NPC polaroid back for ETRSi.
very seldom i'm able to adjust the screw on the back to be able to
attach the back to the camera, wind the crank and release the
shutter. usually it takes about 10 minutes of fiddling with the
screw before i can get the back on the camera and than crank
wouldn't wind or shutter wouldn't work. Most annoying case if i can
get the back on, wind the crank, release the shutter and then I
won't be able to wind the crank again.
the camera is set in multiple exposures mode according to the manual.
when the back works, the screw is almost all the way out and some
adjustments (1/8 of the turn in some direction) actually make it
fall out.
i wonder if my problems related to the fact that the screw
is not secure enough and some shaking or releasing a shutter shifts
it so the crank wouldn't work? is it possible and do i need a longer
screw? what am i doing wrong? does Bronica's own polaroind back has
this pesky adjustable screw or is it the same pain in the neck?
thank you.
