A few months ago I worked on a documentary about Chernobyl.

Unfortunately things did not go as planned, but I still came back with

a few photos. This woman's name is Maria and she lives by herself in

an abandonned village near Chernobyl. Her two sons died three years

ago from cancer. She lives off of a small vegetable patch and help

from the soldiers who guard this area. If you want to see more

I recently came back from a 3-week trip to Belarus and Ukraine. I was

amazed by the revival of religion in countries that had no religion to

speak of for over 70 years. Unfortunately Russian Orthodox Church

seems to frown on photography so I only managed a few snapshots when

no one was looking.

This website is supposed to be about constructive critisism, not self-righteous bitching. Excellent photo! Don't listen to all the jerks telling you that you exploited the poor squirell for personal gain. Comments like that are the reason why I took all of my photos off of this website -- people who cannot take an interesting photograph to save their life like to put the others down.
