  1. LOL. They told that they are unable to took any shot clear in their observations.

    The UFO's are saw only at night to dificult they job.

    Today it's dificult to obtain films of hight sensibility to take night fast shots in Brazil, in 1977 it's a delusional dream.

    This list of equipment seems to be very amateur to be a serious effort of a governamental study.

  2. Ok, the Rokkor lens is the only strange item.

    The camera appears to be Canon 514 XL Super 8 ou 518 Auto Zoom Super 8.

    This list appears in a suposed Brasilian Air Force report about UFO research in 1977. This report in my view don't have confidence. It haven't any mark of autentication, the methodology and the findings are odd. This report don't show any picture too, showing spacecrafts like Jetson's car, cigars and barrels. These topologies was fashion at this time. LOL

    PS. I'm not ufologist, I found this accidentally.

  3. Hi guys

    I read a report for some pictures took in 1977 using this equipment!?!?:

    1 - Minolta SRT 101 with a Tele Zoom 100/200 mm;

    2 - Nikon F with a Tele Rokkor 1200 mm f-5.6;

    3 - Yashica Electro with a Telephoto 400 mm f-6.3;

    4 - S-B (?) Canon Auto Zoom 514 camcorder.

    I think that this configuration is a hoax, but I can't find more detailed

    information about this cameras and the possible lenses used.

    Can anyone tell me about flaws in this list?

    Thank's in advance

  4. Congratulations Rajiv.

    Be adviced that the repeated use of this machine turn the pictures more beautifull and sharp, and you more fanatic. ;)

    The contacts of flashes can be only a Kiev trick, sometimes it still short circuited when you wounding it. Try to shoot it with the flash attached.

    You can dismount the hotshoe to check the contact, this is easy. Unafortunatly I never dismount the PC contact.

    Best Regards

  5. Hi

    Last week I traveled to Balneario Camboriu, a beach located at 220

    km from Curitiba, my city.

    When don't like the Komodo Dragon's routine (sun, sand, and salt

    water), I took my Kiev-4M and walked around the beach trying to

    capture some scenes.

    In the south of Brazil, in despite of subtropical - temperate

    climate, we have a continuation of Tropical Rain Forest, with

    beautiful places.

    I used a Superia Reala and a Provia 100F capturing this following

    scenes.

    Some of my best pics using Provia have a yelowish color cast in the

    shadows, this is due to underexposed picture or scann process?

    The slide appears ok.

    A good news is that this yellow color cast is easy to correct using

    a bit of blue in the shadows, no more adjust.

    In Reala I used few color balance in the shadows or in highlights.

    This time I not used unsharped mask.

    Criticism are welcome.

  6. Hi Berk sorry for this late post, but I have returned from a trip today.

    I have a Konica Auto S1.6 and I think that is a very good camera. And the Hexanon lens are very good, see some pictures below.

    If you will buy the Auto S1.6 check the shutter mechanism.

    My camera have a intermitent problem when I reload it for a next shoot. It simply not reload more after some pictures, this is due to aged mechanism.

    A simple test is shoot here many times changing the position of the body, including inverting here.

  7. I have a Konica Auto S1.6, I'm very impressed with this camera.

    Check you camera for the spring problem stated by Winfried. My camera have this problem, it works sometimes and sometimes not, I can find a place in Brazil to repair this camera.

    The problem of sharpness of S1.6 is ilusory, the Hexanon lens is very sharp, you can use the f/Stop apertures to obtain very interesting 3D effects too.<div>00DEbz-25190784.thumb.jpg.8cb4da6a72e9647b4f7b44e4cf6edbcc.jpg</div>
