1. Hello Michael!

If you like the perspective of a 35mm format 135mm lens, you should try the Sonnar 250/5.6. Even the older C-series, plain multicoated version will do fine if you use it with a proper bellows lens shade. Its not very flare resistant but with a pro-shade and 250 mask, the chromes will look stunning! Like really colorfull and tack sharp. It´s designed to be used wide open and performs the best around f5.6-f8, after that the resolution drops fairly fast. It´s very sharp at closer focusing distances(2.5m) and with a extension tube it gives a lot of working space between you and the subject. The stability of your tripod and a vibration free firing of your camera is very important with this lens!

  2. Hello,

I noticed that older silver bodied C-series 120mm planars are quite affordable in the second hand market. How does this lens differ from new makro planar design? The salesperson told me that it performs quite nicely at closer focusing distances and with extension tubes..Is this true? All information is welcomed..

    Thanks..

  3. Hi,

Does anybody have information about this old and cheap color meter made by gossen? What kind of battery it uses and are how accurate they are. I just need a meter for landscape photography, it doesn´t have to be overly sophisticated. I was thinking about using it with filters from 81 to 81ef, for removing that annoying blue cast.

  4. Hello!

I just had my older lr44 battery replaced with a sr44 battery and noticed that there is a 1/3 stop difference with sr44. Also the sr44 seems to give 6.2V when lr44 gave 6 volts. Is there a possibily of damage to the meter by the 0.2V increase? The battery compartment has a small marking that reads 6V..
