    This is a neat picture.

Good choice of filter (your sunglasses?) :)

I would crop a little more, from the right in particular, and do the corrections on the borders (as I had recommended before on the Jerash image).

    Good job!

  1. There is not much for me to add; anything I noticed has already been covered.

I know the spot you took the picture from; I was there many times!

The B&W image is very good, but I think the Sepia is just a perfect choice to reflect the age of the old city!

The golden border line would enhance the image if it is located exactly at the edges of the picture (without the internal and external black frames), in my humble opinion.

    Excellent composition.

The angry, dark clouds add a lot of power to the image, as if this city was destroyed by this powerful storm!!!

Great job, and welcome to P.N.!

    Dad :)

  2. Hi Jen,Good shot, but I would have preferred more contrast to the lighthouse.
As it is, it appears lost in the background (of the white skies).

I don't know how much distance, or room, there is on the opposite side of the lighthouse.
But if room is sufficient, I would have preferred the picture taken from the opposite side, where this bridge/rail would be sent back.
In my humble opinion, and in this case, for this particular photo, I think the presence of the couple in the picture is a major distraction.
I'm sure someone else would see things differently, and may disagree with my view.

I'll continue to visit your albums, and to enjoy viewing your wonderful work.

  3. I am visiting your great collection after you gave me the address this morning.
    Wonderful collection.
I have been a member here for many years, but I never posted any pictures on this site.

I am a sucker for light houses; always loved them.

This is a very interesting shot. Looks like you decided to take it against the sun, using the structure of the light house to shield the sun, and it came out good. Quite untraditional approach.
The presence of the people gives the viewer a good idea about the size of the structure!

I'll continue to look at your exciting work.

Hope to see you again soon around the Community Center.

    Your friend, Sam
