I like the grainy floor and shadowed edges...
The screen at the far right edge is a bit distracting. Perhaps an even more direct light, putting the stairs in the background really in the bacground would have been more effective. I like them in the shot, but I think they have too much light on them, giving them too much attention in the photo.

I like the idea of this picture, but...
In an image like this, her eyes MUST be in focus. And, the image doesn't look in focus at all.

Seems like a very natural portrait... Everyone looks very comfortable, and some genuine expressions. Good use of fill to get rid of the shadows...
My only criticism is that I would have left a little more room around the edges, especially the top, on the crop.

very asthetically pleasing, and good technical work. I love working with one light...
As for a critique, maybe keep the subjects ears in the picture? Always seems to add perspective to me...

Nice soft lighting... A reflector to the right I presume? Great expression and backgroud separation... A very nice portrait.
There are only a couple of things I would have done differently... very small things. The object that is over her right shoulder is a little distracting. I would have repositioned if possible. And second, I would have had her turn her head back toward the camera slightly because of the shape of her face and eyes.

Nice photo, but some of the shadows caused by the glasses to the left of her nose are a little distracting.

Please size your images so we can see the whole image.

Ah... The age old fight of finding a pose for someone who can do nothing but lay there. At least you got him to open his eyes and look at the camera...
I wrestle with this all the time, Frank. I have decided that at this young of an age (i.e. unable to sit up, or even push up while on their tummy) it is better to just photo them with their mommies or daddies holding them, and try to make it an intimate portrait for both of them.
Here is one of mine: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1555022
You can tell me what you think...
It seems to me that the main light (camera - right) is a little hot, and you lost the detail in his shirt. His face seems washed, and not very crisp.
Kindest regards,

I like the image, but it seems a bit washed...
In PS, darken the darks a bit, and it will be right on.

A very intimate portrait!
A little hot on the right side...

I like the expression you achieved here, and the choosen crop. It seems very natural for her!
I would like to see more fill on the left side to soften the shadows a bit. Perhaps a good reflector (i.e. a white poster board).

What a beautiful sillouette!! I love the light/sky, and the actions of the figures. Well done!
