I really like your idea. Thanks for sharing.

How do you like the colours? No digital manipulation was made.
-
No saturation adjustments were made. That's the way it's on the negative - about an hour after the sunset on a sunny day.
-
Any suggestions are welcome.

I don't agree with the previuos comment. I like the photo, it has sort of SF feeling.
But it doesn't feel like WTC at all.
Good shot anyway...

That's the spirit of NYC streets, isn't it?
-
Now they're looking the right way :). The girls are beautiful.
-
Gorgeous model but why (again!) is she looking out of the picture? The empty space on the left is ruining the picture.
-
Moving her from the middle to the left of the image would certainly help. Nice shot otherwise.

Can you see him?
-
Can you tell how big is the sailboat?
-
It begs for symmetry. A perfect spot to use PC lens.

It is more funny than sad or am I just a monster with a heart of
stone?

How do you like the composition?

Easy to say living in New York, Kelly. You should try to say that cross doesn't do anything for you in ultra-catholic Poland. We have crosses all over the place, even in government offices. And it is less religious symbol than part of heritage, culture.
New Yorker would say it is not universal.
Most Europeans would say it is.
Anyway I liked the colours :)

Is that All Saints Cross spooky enough? Do you feel like getting down
on your knees? If you are catholic, of course.
-
It was on West Broadway, I had WTC on my left hand side.
One more photo that will not be retaken...
-
I do not publish.
I used to work in a photo lab just by WTC (Maiden Lane). I shot two rolls of film I got with me and was going back to the lab when the first Tower colapsed.
I am still glad I haven't taken the third roll.

I liked the grid of the lines. I reminded me the NYC streets seen from far above (WTC's roof). I agree the quality could be better, the idea is quite obvious as well.
But as Kelly has remarked it can't be retaken...
-
Most of the pictures of the second explosion were taken from quite far away. I was close enough to show that scary claustrophobic feeling of the streets around WTC.
The picture is crooked but I decided not to correct it. My hands were shaky and I had difficulties holding the camera straight. The circumstances, my state of mind (fright in that case) can't be separated from the photo.

I really like the composition but I would shoot it in B&W. Color is just unnecessary here.
-
I just love it. Waiting for more!
